The Kansas City Film Office leads KC’s efforts to attract film, television and new media productions to the Greater Kansas City community.

It was here that Walt Disney was introduced to film and opened his first studio. Where generations of talented and experienced actors, from Jean Harlow to Paul Rudd, honed their skills. Home to Historic Film Row, one of America’s largest distribution hubs which housed Hollywood studios like MGM, 20th Century Fox, Warner Brothers and Paramount. A town with a rich film history, and an even brighter future.
